Hi All,

I was just wondering - what would you consider to be the top 3 or top 5 MBA Business Schools in the UK specifically, where MBB actively recruit on campus and target new hires? Are there any other 'target MBA schools' beyond LBS and Oxbridge for MBB?

In addition - are executive or weekend MBAs weighted as favourably as the traditional MBA?

Thanks!

Hello!

For MBA, if you are targetting MBB, 100% go to LBS. Actually, many MBB BAs do their MBAs there.

Hence, it´s not only the program "fame", but also the network -which can be even more important-.

Furthermore, executive would never be considered as good as full time -unless you are combining it with something amazing that rounds-up the story-.

Hope it helps!

Cheers,

Clara

If your target is MBB, I would consider only LBS.

Hi,
I confirm the only target school for MBB offices all around the world is LBS. Oxbridge are great for the UK market. I would not consider other MBA schools if your only goal is MBB.

Best,
Antonello

Hi,

Just to add on what Vlad has already written, LBS is by far the top target school for MBA (I'm from McK & doing an MBA at LBS).

Oxbridge are considered as well but only for selected events and not for all of them, considerably decreasing your chances to get an offer.

Hi,

I would stick to the two schools you've mentioned, simply because the chances of getting an offer from non-target schools are much lower

Executive MBA is less relevant since post-MBA you are being hired for Associate level roles. An executive MBA does not fit that definition.

Weekend MBAs are not even considered and will contribute to your resume only in rare cases (e.g. when you have an academic background and you are trying to show at least some business shift)

Best!
