Hey everyone,

For interviews, I have to prepare a TMT business topic related presentation for about 15 to 20 minutes. First time for this, how would you structure the presentation and where could I find reliable information? Do you think it has to be more like an analysys or a market/business topic presentation?

Thank you in advance,

Hi,

Sorry, but what's the objective of the presentation? What's the topic? WHo is the audience?

How can we help you if you don't provide any info?

For an interview, after a first round, they sent me indications for the second and specified "You are also expected to present a PowerPoint presentation of 4-5 slides on a topic of your choice related to the TMT sector to present in front of two of our managers (in English)." That's all they said. It's quite unclear... Should I ask for details?

Hi,

I would reach out to the recruiter/company to ask them what kind of presentation their are expecting and what the goal is, without knowing that it is impossible to propose a structure. As this might differ based on whether they want to see a thorough analysis or an enganging sales pitch.

Hi A,

I think you should clear it up contacting HR. It is hard to help you without knowing the details.

It's definitely difficult to answer without more information. I've had to do presentations for two different companies, where one was looking at passion for tech/creativity and the other expected a sales pitch. Knowing what your audience is looking for and who they are is definitely key - I'd contact HR and ask.
