There are indeed many ways to do it.
However, the best to make the perfect CV is to leverage the thinking of other people who have done millions of them and know the best practices. In a nutshell, leverage a template.

That is just one example, but you can find plenty online. They are all pretty similar.

Rather, I highly recommend you look at online templates and resources. Then, if you have specific questions (around wording a sentence, including x skill or experience), you should ask here. Otherwise, this question is too general!

There is not just one way to build your CV.
The CV format must adapt to everyone's experience!
To apply for consulting firms, however, you must meet a few standards: a single page, perfect alignment, not too many words (sharp), a consistent grammar, experiences that are specific and show impact / output.
