Hello Community,

I got a rejection for the entry-level consultant (London office) from OW. I can see they have a new posting for Entry level position for the France office. Can I apply to the France office given that I got a rejection from the London office or I have to wait for 12 months?

Hello!

No, unfortunately no.

You need to wait the classic ban of 2-18, time in which you need to add more and insightful new lines to your CV to be re-considered.

Hope it helps, good luck!

Cheers,

Clara

Hi Anonymous,

Unfortunately, you can't apply to another office when you got rejected. The freeze period is standard and usually lasts for 1 year up to 2 years.

Now use this year to maximize your chances for the next time.

Have you applied somewhere else? Getting relevant experience will strengthen your profile and make you a better fit.

Improve networking. Having contacts within the company that may help you secure your interview invite is valuable.

Do you feel confident about your preparation? Hiring an experienced coach might also be a meaningful decision.

Do you need any further help?

Hi there,

Unfortunately these are global companies and their application ban applies worldwide. So, you cannot apply to the French office before this period passes.

How do you improve your screening chances next time?

1) Gain experience (internships, bootcamps, classes, stratups, extracirriculars, etc).

2) Network - speak to multiple people across offices and aim to get a referral

3) Review your resume - make sure your formatting is sharp/consistent, key words/experiences pop, and your experience bullets are properly written.
