Dear RB team,
whats your focus on non-business hires? If an applicant is from such area of studies, do they have to make up for something to be considered for interviews?

Hey,
thanks for your question!
We're at home in all major industries and hence we also have experts in automotive, aviation, digitalization, engineering, finance and even more. Diversity of perspective is one of our key strengths and fundamental to our success. Hence, we also have a focus on non-business hires and half of RB consultants did not study economics. I have a M.Sc. in Mathematics and I'm really happy to work at Roland Berger for more than 2,5 years!
For the interviews, we expect that you know the basics (P&L, cash flow calculation, etc.) and you should practice business cases. Moreover, I recommend an internship - to find out what you want to do and then, to be better prepared for your job at RB. Every applicant has the same chances.
