Hi-

hoping to get a sense of comp progression at MBB, specifically McK in U.S.

hoping to see a breakdown of base + variable. Would like to see across all associate years and EM years (i.e. A1, A2, EM1 etc)

Additionally, would you leave a manager position (2nd year) at big 4 / ACN for post-MBA associate / consultant role at mck?

Hi there,

That's quite the breakdown! Instead of putting it all here, the following provide excellent breakdowns for what you're looking for:

https://managementconsulted.com/consulting-salaries-for-2019-management-consulted/

By the way, there isn't often a breakdown within roles (i.e. A1 vs A2)

Specifically For Mckinsey in the US:

Intern: $32,000 (10 weeks)

Business Analytics (Undergrad): $85,000 base, up to $15,000 bonus

Associates (MBA/PHD): $165,000 base, up to $35,000 bonus

Engagement Manager: ~$250,000

Associate Principles: ~$500,000-$800,000

Partners: >$1 million

Hello!

Honestly those numbers are for the best-paying offices.

DOn´t expect that everywhere, but -30%.

Furthermore, depends on your tiering.

Hope it helps!

Cheers,

Clara
