How much time do you have after receiving an offer to either accept/reject it? Just wondering within what window 1st/2nd round interviews with other firms would need to be scheduled.

Hi there,

Generally the timeline is about a week (give or take a few days). If you're worried about overlap you can do two things: 1) Ask the offering company to give you a bit more time (you can aim for around a week) and 2) Ask the other interviewing company to accelerate your interview timeline as you have another offer but they are your top choice.

Good luck!

Hi there,

Usually 1 to 2 weeks, although it depends on the company and office. You may be able to accelerate the process with the other companies in pipeline if you get an offer.

Best,

Francesco

Typically 1-2 weeks. If you're in a target school, these schools might require certain deadlines that effectively set a 3-4 week time window. You can inquire the details with your career center.

Hey there,

Usually between 1 and 2 weeks, however, in certain circumstances this period can be extended.

Cheers,

Hi, it is usually one week. You can use it as leverage to accelerate other processes. Btw do not struggle with accepting it and then potentially withdraw it in case you get a more interesting offer

Best,
Antonello
