A Tutoring company in an African country has its presence in 2 out of 6 regions of its country. Its major source of revenue comes from receiving commissions from linking clients face-to-face with tutors.

The company has approached you to seek realistic ways to enter the other 4 regions of the country via online tutoring platforms. However, there is a perceived notion of aversion to online tutoring in the country. What strategies may be used to overcome the challenge?

Note:

1. No online tutoring platform is currently present in the country except outside the country.

2. There are other tutoring companies offering face-to-face services.

3. Most of the available tutors are resident in the 2 regions where the company is present.

4. The internet is stable in certain regions of the country.

These are basically 2 questions:

1. How to overcome the outlined perception challenge?

2. Based on the options regarding (1), how can we realistically enter the market

So the first question is a creativity questions which you should address by subdividing the problem into sub problems (classical issue tree). The approach to the second question then is a derivative of this.

Cheers, Sidi
