Is it possible to request a waiver for the Imbellus test if you successfully passed McK's PST in the past and have been working in a consulting firm since then? Technically your problem solving skills should have improved over time in this case. Is it worth asking if they can waive it?

Hey there,

How it would work in practice is that if they are satisfied with your previous experience and the PST result, they might not ask you to do the Imbellus. However, that would come from their side.

Asking for a waiver would not work. :-)

Cheers,

Florian

Hi there,

I never heard of a waiver of this kind and I doubt they would consider it. Plus they should have in the db already the fact you passed the PST before and they know your seniority – so if they sent you the Imbellus link they should have already taken that into account.

If you want to prepare for the Imbellus, you can find below the guide I created with:

  1. Full description of all 4 scenarios and how to crack each of them
  2. 8 videos on how to crack the Ecosystem Management game in less than 25 minutes (instead of the recommended 35)

For any questions please feel free to PM me.

Best,

Francesco

Pretty sure this won't work. Technically your problem solving skills could also have deteriorated...

Hi there,

I agree with the other coaches. If they want to grant you a waiver, they will as they have everything tracked. Asking won't change anything.

I would leave it and just hope they don't need you to retake it.

Best of luck!
