One of the key parameter evaluated on a series of interviews in management consulting is consistency.

Hence, throughout all aspects of the interviews from technical case, PEI / fit, and case presentation, consistent performance is expected and a fluctuation or deviation from these expectation would provide a flag for the interviewers.
