How is the current market situation in Germany for consulting applications?

Has anyone current information on the application situation for (Junior) Consultant positions in the classic Management Consulting firms in Germany? I have the feeling that:

- the number of applicants is currently disproportionately high.

- many spots might be already taken/the budget is lower within the second half of the year.

- so far, I have only received invitations for positions starting in Q1 2020.

Has anyone made similar experiences or heard anything about recruitment freezes from any consultancies?

Hi,

There is no market for consulting applications. The situation varies by the country and the particular office. Any generalization is just a speculation
