Hello,

How can you divide mentally 80/1.25 for example? Multiplying is quite easy but dividing is hard due to the compound effect with division. Happy to hear any solutions or tips.

Hi Anonymous!

just translate all figures to fractions:

1.25 is equal to 5/4 ==> hence 80/(5/4) = 80*4/5 = 320/5 = 64

Cheers, Sidi
