Bain vs BCG interviews

Question

Is the case dynamics of Bain different than BCG’s?

e.g. any difference between:

1- the intro/ clarifying questions dynamics?

2- do you need to give an early answer / hypothesis after presenting your structure? Or can you simply present it and then say ‘I would prioritize xyz ‘ ?

3- what are the metrics that Bain is testing for? Similar to analytics/brainstorming/quant?

4- any other differences?

3. At the end of the day its all similar metrics. Everything is important: Structuring, synthesis, etc

4. Several differences:

Bain love to give the printouts with charts
Most of the cases have a final answer you should come to.
Since Bain fit part is smaller, you have more time to do the case / cases are a bit longer
