Hi all,
I am looking for a coach who is currently working in Bain London and is familiar with the interview process (have interviewed candidates before recently). Does anyone have any recommendations? I can't seem to find many unfortunately.

Hi there,
Sorry, but you won't find this.
Current consultants at MBB are not permitted to coach (nor do they really have the time!)
That being said, I've supported a number of candidates in their London recruiting efforts and am actually quite close with a few Bain London consultants.
I'm very familiar with the interview process and happy to answer any questions you may have!

Hi there,
I agree with Ian, Udayan and Vlad, you are not allowed to do coaching while you are working at MBB.
In case you have any questions please feel free to PM me, I helped several people for Bain London and know 15+ real questions asked there.
Best,
Francesco
Hi,
a) Current consultants are not allowed to coach
b) The interview process is similar across the offices
c) Most of the coaches here coached candidates for the London office
Best
Just a heads up - no one currently at Bain or any MBB firm is allowed to coach you as there is a huge conflict of interest there.
I believe Henning is currently working at Bain and also an interviewer there
Hello!
I am afraid you won´t find a coach who is active in MBB atm + coaching -won´t be well seen-.
There is tough plenty of Bain coaches.
Furthermore, actually pretty much all coaches could help you with a Bain interview -even those of us who did not work for Bain know it well, and in most cases, interviewed ourselves-
Hope it helps!
Cheers,
Clara
Not sure if the other comments here are correct - there are a few active expert coaches who are current MBB consultants and say as much in their Preplounge bio. There are a few other less active expert coaches as well according to their profiles. You can also find their profiles on LinkedIn. I guess the conflict of interest topic is not perceived as a big issue here.
Can you share some examples?
Hello there!
The experts are right, being a consultant in MBB and coaching at the same time is not allowed, besides, I doubt a current consultant would have much time to do it.
But the good news is that many coaches here have prepared candidates for the London office.
The interview process in the London office is no different from others, as Vlad has mentioned.
Do you have any further questions?
