I joined Bain as an Associate Consultant (analyst) in 2010 and have been working there since, except for a 2 year break to go do my MBA at Harvard Business School. From the start I got involved in recruiting and after my first year I began participating in the process of selecting candidates for the Associate Consultant position from the pool of applicants as well as interviewing them. I've interviewed 100+ applicants at Bain and conducted workshops to train potential applicants. I know what consulting firms look for and what matters during interviews.
