Hi there,
This is indeed an interesting question which is probably relevant for quite a lot of users, so I am happy to provide my perspective on it:
- Even if I (and most probably no one else in here as well) cannot give a definite answer to your question, chances are very high that the compensation will not change.
- From my understanding, most minor acquisitions in consulting are predominantly re-brandings, meaning that Vivid Economics will prospectively just work as “a McKinsey company”. Given that the types of services provided and the skillset of employees will not change from the acquisition, howevere, there will most probably not be any impact on compensation.

Hi there,
I can't speak from personal knowledge on the matter (I have no data on this), but I would be surprised if they do. Acquisitions don't just suddenly mean employees are paid more. It is far more likely than not that they do not have the same salary as McKinsey Consultants and that they have seen no substantial change to their current pay.

Hi,
Going by past acquisitions, it is very unlikely that compensation and career trajectory at Vivid Economics will resemble consultant path in the short term. The salary should match what a similar job would pay in the broader market, but not much else is likely to change.

Most likely not, as they are a separate brand, with a different skillset and different talent pool.
They may get closer with time, but I would highly doubt they would make the same. Also, not sure the consultants are the best internal benchmark (there are other functions that may be more similar).
