I had my first round of interviews with Bain around 2 weeks ago. I emailed HR last week to follow up but still haven't heard back from them. Shall I email again or wait for their response?

I also checked my application portal at Bain. Till yesterday, I couldn't apply for new roles. The application portal used to say “you cannot apply for new roles, since you already have an application in process.” However, I checked the portal again today, and it didn't give me any such message. I was able to apply for new roles. Does that mean I am rejected?

Should I still follow up with HR or is there no hope now?
