I am looking for opportunities in the Middle East (Dubai), Australia, North America, Europe, or Africa,
What are the key reach outs to do besides internal network/alumn for an MBB consultant profile (2 years exp.)
1) Are there any generalized or specialized recruitment firms I should think about ? (e.g., Michael Page or MoveMeOn)
2) are there any websites to look for job postings effectively (e.g., linkedin)

Seek, Monster, Google Job Search, LinkedIn, etc. are all great resources for finding job postings.
I would recommend specialized recruiting, but, ultimately, networking effectively is the best way to find opportunities that are best suited for you. My advice for effective networking is as follows:
a) Reach out to people in your network
b) Reach out to people once removed from your network
c) Reach out to people with a similar backgorund to you (i.e. same alma mater, same historically underrepresented demographic i.e. gender, orientation, ethnicity, etc., same career switch, etc.)
d) Tailor a message to them specifically both showing interest in them and their journey and demonstrating that you have done your research and could be a valuable hire
e) Play "tag" across calls you get so that you can work your way towards the company/office/role you want
f) Never directly ask for a referral, but "hint" at needing one (this is nuanced and important...happy to talk through wording)
Hi,
So, you are basically hunting for a job in pretty much the whole world. With the geographies you are targetting there isnt a single source that covers it all. With 2 yrs of experience you are not particularly the most attractive candidate for recruitment firms outside of the local countries.
