HI Steve,
This is obviously an unusual case and I am just sharing my opinion here, so no general rules, and other coaches may have a different view on this.
1. This seems very challenging, if not unrealistic in "general practice"
2.HIghest probability to succeed would be to leverage your expertise and apply directly in a posiiton/industry where you can add value (e.g. M&A)
3.Select cautiously the firm you're applying for. MBB might no be the easiest and most relevant for you to apply for. HOwever boutiques might be more relevant for you

Hi,
With 14 years of experience, you need to apply for a very senior role in consulting. If you are talking about MBB companies, I would say you should have some of these advantages:
- Relationships with the particular clients
- Industry expertise (and relationships in the industry)
- Ability to be a leader in M&A practice
You can also apply for Big4 companies. They hire people with very diverse backgrounds for the senior roles.
