Hello all,
I would appreciate any suggestions or input.
1. Has anyone heard of West Monroe Partners? I have not found any discussion about this company on this board. I talked to one of their consultants and they seemed to work with a wide range of clients, from F100 to smaller private companies. Their work covers strategy, operation, and implementation and their business grow very fast.
2. I am wondering if I should try to get into West Monroe since it is still recruiting MBAs now or I should wait for 1-2 years and then reapply to MBB and other consulting firms.
I will finish my PT MBA in June 2020. This September I applied to only McKinsey and BCG, and was interviewed at both. Being probably overconfident, I underprepared the casing and did not get an offer. Back then I felt my current job (not consulting) was good enough to stay unless there was a perfect opportunity. My work has taken quite a turn since then. I have decided to move on but I have missed all the other consulting firm's regular MBA recruiting. I plan to reach out to the recruiters but I think I will have to go through experience hire, which is more difficult.
Thanks. Happy new year!
Wayne
